Where the idea came from
My close friend is a dentist. Brilliant with patients, genuinely loves the work. But I watched - up close - how much of his day had nothing to do with dentistry.
Phones ringing with appointment requests nobody could get to. Front desk scrambling between three systems that didn't talk to each other. Patients falling through the cracks because follow-ups lived in someone's head. Charts that needed updating at 7 PM because the day was too chaotic to do it at 5.

That's when it clicked. The problem wasn't effort - dentists work incredibly hard. The problem was tooling. Old, bloated, poorly designed software that hadn't kept up with how modern practices actually operate. I knew I could fix that.
Who's behind this

I'm a software engineer who got tired of watching good people suffer under bad tools. I'm not a dentist, and I don't pretend to be. But I've spent enough time in dental offices - and enough hours talking to the people who run them - to know exactly what's broken and how to fix it.
Together with my wife Karen, we're building KeepTrack with a clear mission. That means fast decisions, no corporate nonsense, and a product that moves as quickly as the problems it's solving.

I'm a doctor in medicine with a deep understanding of how healthcare operations actually work. I bring the clinical and operational perspective that ensures KeepTrack solves real problems for real practices - not theoretical ones.
Working alongside my husband Carlos, we're creating software that respects both the clinical standards and the operational realities of modern healthcare.
Why we do this
Dental practices are the backbone of community healthcare. They're small businesses run by people who spent a decade training for one thing - and then spent their careers buried under the second thing nobody told them about: operations.
A dentist who gets home at 8 PM because of paperwork isn't just tired - they're less present for their patients the next morning. The administrative burden doesn't just hurt the business. It hurts the care.
